American Sign Language Class

Did you know that men are almost twice as likely as women to have hearing loss among adults, aged 20 to 69, and 90 percent of deaf children are born to hearing parents? If you’re ready to elevate the lives of the hearing impaired, know that your involvement with The Potter’s House Deaf & Hard of Hearing Ministry helps raise awareness regarding these statistics, and so much more.

On Thursday, September 14 at 6 p.m., join us for the American Sign Language Class at The Potter’s House in room 106-107. Presented by TPH Deaf & Hard of Hearing Ministry, we offer classes for beginner and intermediate level students. Upon mastering the beginner and intermediate levels of sign language, you’ll have the opportunity to obtain state certification!

For more information on how you can attend these classes or support our ministry efforts, please contact LaMonithal Wiggins at 214.331.0954, ext. 1067, or Pastor Lawrence Robinson at 214.331.0954, ext. 1097.

We look forward to seeing you in class on Thursday!
