Summary/Description:

SUMMARY

 

Effectively and efficiently assists with cash management office duties, data entries, and reconciling. Trains tellers on cash management process and conference events. Will coordinate with various departments upon receiving and verifying cash warrants and communicate with constituents regarding donations inquiries.  Applicant must be proficient in Word, Access, Excel, Donor Studio and Solomon.  Requires travel with finance team as directed.  This is a detail oriented job that requires time management and attention to detail.  Transportation is required due to multiple office locations.  Must be in good physical condition and able to travel upon request.  Performs teller duties related to receiving, verifying and balancing cash on a daily basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE 

Banking and or Accounting background a minimum of 3 years. Computer knowledge (Proficient in Word .Excel, Access and PowerPoint, Donor Studio and experience in Solomon is a plus). Ability to multitask and interact with groups and train other subordinates as needed.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to understand the importance of balancing cash and related financial functions.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.  Ability to interpret a variety  of  instructions furnished in  written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

While performing the duties of this job. the employee is frequently required to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job includes close vision.
