Thousands of backpacks will be distributed at The Potter’s House of Dallas


WHO:
MegaCARE Missions, the global humanitarian arm of The Potter’s House of Dallas

WHAT/WHY:MegaCARE Missions, the global humanitarian arm of the Dallas-based mega church, The Potter’s House, led by Bishop T.D. Jakes, will host a Back-to-School Fair to provide school supplies to low-income families in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Metroplex.

More than 3,500 backpacks filled with supplies children typically need for school, will be distributed to families who have already pre-registered their children.

Along with the backpacks and school supplies, MegaCARE Missions will also have barbers and beauty professionals on site to provide costly services for low income parents such as back-to-school haircuts and nail care services.

In addition to the backpacks distributed at The Potter’s House on Saturday, MegaCARE Missions will also donate backpacks and school supplies to several local shelters and international orphanages.
